About the event
This year-long course offers a hands-on immersion into the world of herbal medicine in a community setting. Beginning with foundational concepts in botany, materia medica, and medicine making, we will guide you through a seasonal journey of plant-based healing. The curriculum is designed to help you build a home apothecary, confidently use herbs for personal and family wellness, and develop a meaningful relationship with the plant world. Through a blend of in-person lectures, practical lessons, hands-on activities and guided plant identification walks, you will learn to prepare a wide variety of herbal remedies and understand their use in supporting the body’s major systems throughout the year.
EDUCATION STANDARDS
(12) monthly workshops with lecture and hands-on activities.
An estimated 4 hours/month of at-home class work
Earn a 78-hour Introduction to Herbalism Certificate upon completion
